The Office of the Attorney General’s Open Records Division is hosting a free, monthly webinar series on Microsoft Teams that provides an overview of the basics of the Public Information Act (PIA). This recurring presentation is designed to help attendees understand key requirements, procedures, and best practices for responding to public information requests.

Each session will conclude with a Q&A segment to address general PIA‑related topics and attendee questions. In addition to the core presentation, supplemental sessions covering law enforcement and cost‑related issues under the PIA will be offered on a rotating basis every other month.
