The Office of the Attorney General’s Open Records Division and Opinion Committee host the Open Government Conference to support transparency and compliance in Texas government.

This conference is designed for members of the public, government employees and officials, media representatives, and anyone who interacts with or works with governmental bodies in Texas.

The program focuses on fostering a clear and practical understanding of the Texas Public Information Act and the Texas Open Meetings Act, both of which are foundational to ensuring transparency and accountability in state and local government.
